Hi Angus: I read your Sociological Theory syllabus and found it to be refreshing, creative and compelling. Indeed, it changed my views on certain aspects of teaching theory and, with your permission,  will selectively use some of it. I especially liked the way in which you "framed" the use and purpose of films. I think that it would defuse students' views that they were for "entertainment" to be passively watched.
