Beautiful. Thanks, Angus.
Hi, folks. It's pledge week on NPR here and I'm already a member, so
I switched over to Air America a little early this morning, and good
thing I did! I tuned in just in time to hear an ad for "Sineoff" (a
cold medicine) that claimed to fight crime and community devestation,
not just your stuffy nose. How, might you ask, can a cold remedy
fight crime? It has no pseudoephedrine, "the main ingrediant to make
CRYSTAL METH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" (emphasis in the advertisement).
The ad then referred the listener to a website. Of course, I had to
follow the link and I figured I'd pass along the link for those who
had not heard (or seen?) the ad yet.
Talk about your moral panics! Anyway, enjoy, A.
