I should have mentioned I usually only use clips, too, about 10 minutes.

Subject: TEACHSOC: Re: Films

I like to use short film clips and trailers. I use clips and trailers as examples of main points and/or to open up topics for discussion.  I also like to the trailers to discuss how films are advertised.   I use the following sites:

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/view/

http://movies.aol.com/trailer_clip_movie_preview_video/archive

http://www.mediaed.org/videos/

http://www.mardigrasmadeinchina.com/watch_listen.html

http://www.juvies.net/index.html

http://www.360degrees.org/360degrees.html

If anyone has a list of other sites like these I’d appreciate seeing them too. Tina
