About an hour ago I sent out a message to the list
serve but didn't get the message back so I'm not sure if everyone received
this. If you did, ignore this message.

It's the middle of January
already and its time to prepare for Interop. Last year, 6-8 people made
the trip and I think all thought it was worthwhile. It is the best
networking show around and it is very affordable, approx. $300 for flight and
hotel. Those of us who took a bump in Phoenix made the trip for
free!!
The show is May 6-10 this year
and the exhibition hall is open again from Tuesday through Thursday. The
tentative plan is to fly out of Omaha on Monday and return to Omaha on
Friday. That will give us 3 full days on the convention floor, which is
about right. We have stayed at the Hilton and Riviera before and last year
several suggested that we stay at the Excalibar. There are Shuttle buses
running from all of the major hotels to the convention center. I am
getting prices on staying at all three places.
Each year I have saved the
school district much more than the cost of the trip. You find what's new
instead of buying old technology and not knowing it.
If you're interested, give me a
reply and I will be sure that you get the information as soon as I get it.
