| *************************************************************************** | | Dear Tech Coordinators, | | We are pleased to announce that we will be offering a five day combination | training class for Mac OS X Administration (desktop client) and Mac OS X | Server Essentials class hosted at Heartland AEA 11. This will be a | technical, nuts and bolts, bring your propeller class! | | We need you to pick the week! We have two weeks available... | | The week of May 6, 2002 and May 20, 2002. The class is five days short and | will give you the ability as well as a discount coupon for testing at a | Prometric testing center and become certified on Mac OS X. | | Our own Senior System Engineer Kevin O'Neill will be teaching the class. | Kevin is an Apple Certified Mac OS X instructor, former K-12 classroom | teacher, and great presenter. He has a lot of field experience with schools | and interjects real world examples into his teaching. | | The only thing is, we will need a reply from you no later than Monday, | February 11, 2002. The cost of the five day class is $1200 per person and | includes all class materials, take homes, and a coupon good for discounted | certification testing, plus much more. | | We had originally looked at a three day server only class that would cost | nearly as much and would not have gotten you as prepared for certification | on Mac OS X or gotten you the valuable information on the migration to Mac | OS X desktop. | | We have a classroom size limit of 12 right now and may be able to expand | that based on hardware availability. | | Please reply to me, Mike Meeker, at [EMAIL PROTECTED] and let me know your | interest in attending and preference for week. Based on earlier | conversations with some of you, I know this class will fill up quickly. | | If we have enough registrants, maybe we can talk real nice to Heartland AEA | 11 and get both weeks! Please get your registration replies into me as soon | as possible. I will go by "sent" time stamps on replies and it will be on a | first come, first serve basis in regards to wait listing registrants. | | Unless there are additional openings, we would request that only one person | per district per session be registered. If there are openings or | cancellations, we will gladly accommodate multiple people from a single | district. | | Summary: | Mac OS X Administration / Server Essentials Combo Certification Training | Pick a Week: May 6, 2002 or May 20, 2002 | Location: Heartland AEA 11 in Johnston IA | RSVP to: Mike Meeker @ [EMAIL PROTECTED] | Deadline for RSVP: Monday, February 11, 2002 | We will either wait list registrants over #12 or provide the class both | weeks. | | Let me know if you have any questions.
