If your elementary building(s) (k-8) are interested in:
1) a wireless lab, OR
2) videoconferencing units that can pick up ICN sessions, mentoring/peer coaching sessions, and/or consulting sessions with AEA personnel, OR
3) student produced projects using video editing equipment,

I would strongly recommend that you apply for a Star Schools Connectivity grant.   The application and guidelines can be downloaded from   http://www3.iptv.org/csc/

You will be asked to explain:
1) What you will do with the requested funds   (up to $25,000)
2) How this project will impact student achievement
3) What "gaps" in student achievement exist in your building and how will this project address the gaps?
4) What staff development activities will ensure the success of the project?

These are all questions that your district is probably addressing through their Annual Progress Report-  so if the majority of the work has to be done anyway it may be well worth your time to take that information and submit an application to this grant.

Let me know if you would like some assistance,
Nancy
