FileMaker, Inc. is currently allowing schools to purchase an upgrade license to upgrade from any previous version of FileMaker to FileMaker 6.0 (just released).
Our FileMaker state representative has let us know that in the near future FileMaker will require upgrade customers to be at version 5.0 or greater to be able to purchase 6.0 upgrade licenses. If the version is lower than 5.0 they will have to purchase new licenses.
If you plan on upgrading and have older versions consider upgrading immediately!
