Another switch question. Why can't I put in "switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q" on a port? The port is already a trunk port. It gives me the little carrot under encapsulation tell me that it is invalid. If I could I would go a physically put a cable in a new port to make this work, but I can't access the room because of waxing.
