I wouldn't call my self an expert on anything but I can program routers.
What can I do to help?

If any one is familiar with Cisco router configuration, I am in need of your
help and expertise.

This afternoon, I went into one of our building routers to change the
enable, secret, and VT passwords since our former tech director is now no
longer with the District.

Was able to log in via IP, when I got to the router prompt I entered the
setup options, changed the passwords, and then pressed option to to write
and save the changed. After that the router became unavailable and hence
now I have a building down.

I DO have the good configuration copied and printed out and I CAN get into
the router via console and HyperTerminal. Where I need help and obviously
before 9am tomorrow is how to write the good configuration back into the
router and then save that to get the building back online.

Then since I have three more buildings to do, maybe some one can tell me a
better (less destructive) way of changing the enable, secret, and VT
passwords without bring a building down. Thank you for your responses. A
beer so far has helped to ease the pain.
