Sorry to say but the last thing I would suggest to anybody would be to take their PC to bestbuy to get it fixed. I had a friend take his laptop to bestbuy, it wouldn't boot. He told them he had data on it that he needed for his business, (backup was 2-3 weeks old). He left it and came back . . . Whoops they re-installed the OS without getting the data off. They said well we won't charge you for fixing it . . . He didn't think about it till later but the thing was under warranty so he should not have been charged anyway 8^) He did get a $50 gift certificate after he later complain to corporate.
I told him (1) backup daily or more often and (2) don't take it to bestbuy until he is sure he doesn't have anything on it that he needs.
