There will be many, many Android tablets released this fall with many
vendors - including Verizon - targeting Black Friday for their
releases. One of the major flaws that I have seen in my reading of the
upcoming release of Android tablets is that many are based on older
versions of Android. My phone has a newer version of Android than some
of these tablets will. I would hope that you could upgrade the version
of Android on these tablets.
I am looking forward to the release of these devices. It will be an
interesting fall.

I do disagree with the writer though on one thing, since android has
not released a tablet specific version of the OS then obviously the
vendors developing platforms will have to add a lot of features to the
basic OS.
