Ahh, dry pair. They work well. Telcos do not like to sell them (1-2 pair of
copper connections with no electronics attached) as they are not very
lucrative. We have ordered "alarm circuits" instead of "data circuits" to get
some connections made.

I WANT TO KNOW OF ANY VENDOR holding you ransom. We can twist arms.

Subject: [tech-geeks] connection woes

Anybody out there have experience with dry pairs connecting buildings.......and
vendors nixing said dry pair when your Internet carry changes from them to a
competitor...ie we aren't going to sell you this dry pair since you are getting
your Internet service through xyz rather than us? I'm making calls.......but
had no idea this was going to happen - and they plan to cut off my public
library and elementary tomorrow.
