Well I would suggest a Cisco ASA 5510 on the front end for the security part
of your question.  As for internal routing, a mid level layer3 switch like
the 3750X would handle the load just fine.  If you want a dedicated router
on a stick for inter-VLAN routing, look at the 2900 series of routers.

If you want higher end high availability, look at the Cisco 4500 series
chassis switch and a redundant pair of 5510s for the firewall.
