I think pty_allocvp can be invoked only when ptm == &ptm_bsdpty, therefore: ptm->allocvp == pty_allocvp, ptm->makename == pty_makename. ptm->getvattr == pty_getvattr. In what condition and who can invokes pty_allocvp, when ptm == &ptm_ptyfspty? Ilya.
