This is bound to look wrong for PostScript output where words in proportional fonts have different widths. Also tags should almost always be marked up somehow (.Sy or .Li in this case, I'd guess), even if things look the same in plain text. Please, always check how your man pages look when formatted with groff -Tps (don't use mandoc ps output - last time I checked it was horrible; use ps2pdf to postprocess for comfortable viewing if necessary). -uwe
