Hi Mr.Deshpande,
A  viable solution to transfer video will be to ReEncode it using Divx 
encoder.
Else, you can try to reduce the clarity or Frame rate of the video.
But, that will lead to reduced clarity.
If you can afford to lose some quality,you can encode into Real Media 
Video (RM), or Windows Media Video(WMV), or Quick Time(QT).
But, if you want the exact clarity, then Divx is my suggestion.
There are many softwares available on net, Google it, else i can help.

Can anyone else suggest any Divx rippers that work fast and is also 
available as a Open source or Freeware?
Or abt Trial versions without any limitations?

Sorry that your mail wa a bit late to be posted.
Its the delay in moderation.
There is a Worm spreading wildly thorugh yahoo groups.
Its sending around 20 mails everyday using other's email ids.
So, there is a small delay in filtering them.
