Firewalls can be a problem, especially firewalls run by people who
refuse to edit configuration files. Keep it turned off for now.

This is disturbing.

Your -logging is too low. I can't tell if your node was actually
talking to the network. Set logging=debug in freenet.ini and post the
result.

GJ just checked in a patch to that abominable thing. You're encouraged
to run Freenet right off the trunk CVS. Life is better there.
