Well, you were suddenly gone on IRC yesterday, or I would have told you
then, toad, but I've encountered a serious bug with the 0.7 node.

After lot's of trying and failures (apparently - at least partly - due to
the use of a (mere two days) old version), I got connected to some dudes.
they asked me to request some stuff, and one of them had me request a rather
large piece - a home-made movie or video or something, he said. (And I don't
see why I should doubt that, even when I didn't see it).

So the node got working really hard. Meanwhile, I went on updating the
www.freenethelp.org wiki a bit. Suddenly, my puter went wild; incessant
beeping all over the place, you know, like when you hold a key on your
keyboard down for an exendend period of time. Something with the event
queue, I imagine.

I closed my firewall, but that was to no avail, then I tried shutting
everything down, but the node didn't respond (the only application that
didn't, btw). Finally my whole puter frooze, and I had to restart the box
hardhanded. ;-)

I have an AMD 2GHz, 512 SDRAM, DSLconnectionand win2000

I was wondering if others have experienced such things too?

As you can understand, I'm rather reluctant to try it out again, if the same
result is going to happen. then again, maybe that's the only way you can get
info(?) (But can there be a log auto-send if my puter freezes? doubt it.)
Anyway, if it can help you debug it, tell me what to do or send. (Ofcourse,
with as few restarts of my puter as possible, please!)
