Separate the data store from the transport. Allow the data to be transferred over various networks via plug-ins, both openly and through steganography. This could allow a lot of creative ways to spread Freenet. Blog sites and free storage sites could be used as middlemen. MP3s could be transferred over Kazaa, iMesh, and so on with Freenet data hidden within them. The same goes with torrents.
Of course, I2P and a proprietary Freenet protocol could be used as well. -Jon
