Hi,
Here is what I've done so far :
* I've updated our freenet-ext file to use a newer
version of the BDB provider, and an updated version of libgmp to seize
x86_64 optimizations on linux.
* I've written the base code of the update-over-freenet
mechanism ; thanks to toad for finishing it.
* I'm currently working on the new installer : it will
be a full rewrite of the current one, featuring an uninstaller and some
native hooks on win32.
Here are some of the remaining tasks :
* split frenet-ext.jar up to make the installer download
smaller files, introduce a revision number in it so that it can be
updated
* Finish the installer rewrite and do some usability
testing/rating
* Investigate gcj related issues (starting with fixing
already reported bugs in mantis)
* Set up packaging tools on emu in order to auto-build
packages for major linux distributions
As dbkr has already pointed out, most of us are still students and
our terms haven't finished yet; mine will have on the 1. of July. I'll
be far more productive when it's over.
