I have now implemented ClientPutDiskDir and ClientPutComplexDir. These are documented with the rest of FCP v2.0 here: http://wiki.freenetproject.org/FreenetFCPSpec2Point0
Almost all of FCP 2.0 is implemented now; as far as most clients are concerned, it is done. What remains are minor things such as configuration, diagnostics, and so on, which are not essential IMHO (over FCP) for the alpha. (There are a few other things to do for the alpha though). We need a volunteer to port FIW to Freenet 0.7. With the above two FCP commands it should be fairly straightforward. IIRC FIW is written in Java... If ported, it will be bundled with Fred in the 0.7 public alpha. However IMHO, some form of updatable keys ARE vital for the alpha, so I will implement USKs on Monday. I don't believe this will take more than a day and a half to implement and debug, but it would be a significant improvement on DBRs, with huge potential for future improvements. -- Matthew J Toseland - toad at amphibian.dyndns.org Freenet Project Official Codemonkey - http://freenetproject.org/ ICTHUS - Nothing is impossible.
