A tip of the hat to the gentleman who reminded me to check interface stats for the machines in question - on the switch and on the clients. Alas, I forgot to mention in my last email - there are no interface errors on the RHEL5 NFS Server or the VxWorks client, or the other client Linux machine I mounted the share with "-o udp."
