I am trying to setup a small test wireless network in my office and I can't get the wireless router to save the settings or go back to factory default settings. It is a 3 Com 3crwer100-75. I have pressed the reset button on the device , held it in for over 30 seconds, powered the unit off and when power on I held the reset button. None of that worked. I went to HP's web site ( new owner of 3com) and this unit's manual doesn't come up but tried the other way by connecting the straight through patch cord between the LAN port and the dsl port. None of this works. It still retains the old settings. Before I toss this thing in the trash has anyone seen this behavior before? Do I have to get the local witch doctor to come in and shake some voodoo dust on it? This unit has worked fine for me to do my workshops at other locations but I guess I left it in my laptop bag too long.
