HP's starting to ship these new "smart-racks" that communicate with the servers via sensors in their rack-ears, such that it MIGHT be possible, in the near future, to get that location information out and expose it via puppet facts. We don't have any of these cabinets yet, but i'm hoping to have a bunch in a couple months when I do our next expansion.
