I haven't seen their system, but we achieved the same thing using Ortronics Mighty-Mo racks. our trick is that we interspersed switch and server patch ports about every 3U. It lets us use 2' or 3' cables in almost every case, and the mighty-mo cable management is great. You can see some early examples here: http://www.smoe.org/jeffw/gallery-new/e_dc_build_2008-10-06 I don't have any recent pix of the datacenter, but there's one that's a couple of years old at http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3394/3213527881_e908a3226b_o.jpg It's almost completely filled now but still looks that good. -j _______________________________________________ Tech mailing list [email protected] https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tech This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
