Think I forgot to add...that back in the day....I had purchased Partition
Magic....since I had purchased a Dell with an initial 120G drive, with the
intent that I would self upgrade to bigger soon after....

For more recent drive migrations....work purchased a Dell workstation with only
a 250G drive with the intent of using 500G drives for a sata array that was
about to be retired. (turns out they were only SATA-I drives....) or, the 1TB
drives in the other sata array....which didn't become available, because it was
a netapp, and can't restore archive tapes to a non-netapp array. I had warned
them repeated that netapp does something weird to lock...didn't seem to clue
them in that it was the only thing we couldn't do d2d2t with....insisted on
driving the tape directly.

Anyways....for that I used EaseUS Partition Magic Freeware, which appears to
have been superseded by EaseUS Partition Master Free Edition (which says home
use only now) - http://www.partition-tool.com/personal.htm ....

At home when I was resizing WinXP Virtual drives....I used Parted Magic.
