If your Python is any good, I'd install pycurl and play in the REPL with prodding at FTP URLs via cURL, which can support Kerberos and NTLM, depending upon cURL's build options. Eg: Protocols: [...] ftp ftps [...] Features: Debug GSS-Negotiate IDN IPv6 Largefile NTLM NTLM_WB SSL libz TLS-SRP Alternatively, you can see what you can get to from the curl(1) command-line; with Kerberos credentials, that typically involves saying "-u :" to turn on authentication but not supply a usercode or password; there are various other options to select mechanisms, but that "-u :" is the gotcha that I remember had me scratching my head when I first tried to debug negotiate auth over HTTP for Kerberos support. -Phil _______________________________________________ Tech mailing list [email protected] https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tech This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
