Sorry for the cross-post, but until the lists are merged, how else can I reach
everyone? This is a shameless self plug, but it's on-topic for the list, and I
contribute a lot here so I don't feel guilty. ;-) Also, if I didn't work
there, I would have wanted to post the exact same message, which would've been
ok. So... ;-)

Concept Blossom, Synctuary

One of the companies I work for, http://conceptblossom.com is doing a
promotional $1 per user per year, secure cloud file sharing solution.

For $0 and no registration, you get 3 users. (That's not promotional - that's
ongoing steady state). And during the promotion, it's $1 per user after that.

We presently have only the client/server model available, in which the data
at-rest is not encrypted on the server (so it's a host-your-own server model),
but will be launching a client-side encryption feature this summer, which will
also enable us to offer a hosted solution.

I currently use this in the public cloud, and use TrueCrypt to secure the data
at-rest. So if a public cloud solution is what you care about, it *can* be
done. But until the client-side encryption feature is available, the public
cloud could be vulnerable in-runtime.
