Typing speed, > a la WPM, is not necessarily a good indicator of ergonomics. Everybody's different. Here's my story: I've used and enjoyed the Dvorak layout for many years. But in terms of wrist pain and such I got much more benefit out of using Kinesis keyboards and foot pedals. My 3 foot pedals are for Control, Shift and Alt. My keyboard looks like this: https://www.kinesis-ergo.com/shop/advantage-for-pc-mac/ The foot pedals saved my pinkies. Having many keys under the thumbs is great. Plus the straight-instead-of-crooked reaches to move between rows feels better. _______________________________________________ Tech mailing list [email protected] https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tech This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
