We register all domains, not only the European ones, with Cronon.net who are also one of our ISPs. Excellent, professional service in all areas (*), competent people. Just realizing that their website is all German so navigation may be hard for you although most PDFs are available in English, too. Mail to <[email protected]> and they'll answer. Regarding gandi.net, one of our contractors used their mail hosting but switched to someone else after gandi bounced mails for him repeatedly for weeks. No idea if this does or does not allow to draw conclusions about their registrar services.
