I haven't used them, I'm a 3par fan (I'd recommend them, but they've got no NAS features built-in), but I've heard good things about Compellant. Great featureset, reasonable price.
If you're looking lower cost, check out Nexenta - it's based on opensolaris but with a bunch of commercially supported additional features.
