Hi, The new queue code that was commited 4 months ago is very efficient and optimized. It will provide better performances on machines with scarce resources, however its been optimized too early in my opinion, it cuts possibilities for many features or makes them very hard to implement, by removing some information to save bytes here and there.
I think this optimization has been commited too early and I'd like to back it out. The many ideas behind it are good but I think it should be reintroduced later when we know we are not making it hard to work on smtpd. Objections ? Gilles -- Gilles Chehade
