I think ksh could really benefit from some regression tests to check that tab completion is behaving sanely. At the moment we have no real assurances that diffs don't break other tab completion scenarios. If anyone has clever ideas (preferably in proof-of-concept code form) on how to automate tab completion testing, that would help get support for this fix.
