I've been running -current on a ThinkPad X201 for close to a year now.
iwn times out after about 45-90 seconds every time I boot. This happens
very reliably, regardless of which network I'm connecting to. All I get
to the syslog is:
> Dec 26 17:05:40 thinkpad /bsd: iwn0: timeout waiting for master
This happens on both ramdisks and installed kernels. After I run
netstart again, it works until the next boot.
/etc/hostname.iwn0 is just:
> nwid mynet
> wpakey mypasswd
>
> dhcp
> rtsol
I'm pretty sure it happens without rtsol, as I've gone without it in the
past. I'll test this on my next reboot.
I've shelved this in the past because those I've talked to with
identical laptops and cards don't have this problem. However, Theo
thinks it's likely a driver bug, so I decided to bring it up.
Thoughts? Additional info needed? I'm happy to run debug builds if it'd
help.
