It's a "clean-room open source" re-implementation of the SuperH instruction set. They're currently debating what sort of MMU they should use http://lists.j-core.org/pipermail/j-core/2017-March/000566.html Although they're mainly interested in feedback from Linux kernel developers, I imagine that feedback from OpenBSD developers might also be welcome, especially since the OpenBSD/landisk platform already supports the SuperH instruction set.
