For individuals who are unaware, I wanted to point out the J-core project.

It's a "clean-room open source" re-implementation of the SuperH instruction 
set.  They're currently debating what sort of MMU they should use

Although they're mainly interested in feedback from Linux kernel developers, I 
imagine that feedback from OpenBSD developers might also be welcome, especially 
since the OpenBSD/landisk platform already supports the SuperH instruction set.
