I so much hate it when people drop the umlaut in my name and write "Floter" - this usually happens while being in America because people don't know better.
My name is Flöter or Floeter ("ae", "oe", or "ue" are the correct substitutions). They are different letters with different pronunciations that happen to look similar. Think about it - Could we replace "n" with "r" and say "Arthory J. Bertley"?! OperBSD? If you're concerned about UTF-8 you should probably fix the output or the terminal and don't just strip everything to 7-bit ASCII. Dankeschön! Reyk > On 11.07.2017, at 05:42, Anthony J.
