On a system with VIA CLE266 graphics, X immediately crashes upon startup. I fixed it by cherry-picking some commits from upstream xf86-video-openchrome; the crash and the fix apply to both 6.1 and a recent snaphost.

Anyway, I browsed the upstream commit log and found some pre-0.4.0 commits that moved around the call to ViaDoubleCheckCLE266Revision(); after importing the parts of those commits which are relevant to our version, the crash is FIXED!
