Hello Thiru,
           Application blocks are built in codes that helps u to reduce the 
amount of ado.net coding. For example, to fill a datareader,it just requires 
one line of code. But beware,it has lots of bugs in it,esp connection leaks. MS 
doesn't recommend using this because of such known issues. Also don't use it in 
production untill u test it thoroughly.Make sure to read the home page of 
Enterprise library before using it.
