*Project Manager *A client in Albany, NY is looking for an experienced, full time Project Manager capable of working on several sub-projects and managing teams of up to ten people. The following includes the mandatory and desired skills for this position:
*Mandatory Skills:* - Over four (4) years of experience oversseing medium-scaled projects comprised of sub-projects and distinct deliverables; typically coordinating and delegating the assignments for the consultant project staff numbering over 10 people. Focal point of contact for issuing entity regarding project status, meetings, reporting requirement, scope changes, and financial, administrative, and technical issues and concerns raised by consultant staff or issuing entity *Desirable Requirements:* - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Over ten (10) years of demonstrated effective skills in project management, analysis, and documentation. - Over ten (10) years experience in policy administration for state and federal human services programs. Candidate must display in-depth knowledge of policy development in such program areas. - Over ten (10) years experience interfacing with and supporting the business processes associated with both state and local social services. - Over ten (10) years experience working with a large scale, complex, legacy mainframe system. - Project Management Professional Certification *Job Tasks* - Coordinate project management artifact development - Assist in the coordination of project plan implementation activities - Enterprise architecture implementation - Mentoring within the project team - Rational tool implementation - Assist in reviewing QA findings and risk mitigation - Participate in the review of major Functional Roadmap Contractor deliverables.
