Hi all. I am evaluating Pramati Studio 3.0 Beta. and below are some of my intial notes
The pramati IDE is cool. i like the look and feel. Few Notes: * when installing it on Red hat Linux 7.1 the install shield prompted be to select the directory where it has to install the PStudio and also the JDK home. i used the browsed to select the directory (say /opt/pramati/3.0 for install dir and /opt/jdk1.3 for JDK) the installer put the selected dir as /opt/pramati/3.0/ and /opt/jdk1.3/ ( see for the extra '/' at the end. for the first time i didn't notice this so after installation all the shell scripts had an extra "/" in the scripts. i had to manually edit to remove the extra slashes. * In your DOCs. file:///D:/PStudio30/docs/docstore/quickstart/studio/1220006/html/pst30qstart.htm#quick_start >> To create the bean, open the Bean Wizard from the >>main menu by selecting Components >> Bean Wizard >>from the main menu. >>The first panel that appears is called Select the >>an. Enter the following information in the panel: A note abt clicking the "Expert mode" would be helpful because i forgot to look at this for the first time when i tried to do the tutorial. vasu.. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
