It depends I think on how old the keyboard is. I have an old "chunky" style Bluetooth keyboard and this will, I know, only pair with an iMac or MacBook and cannot for example be paired with iDevices like iPads etc. It is to do with Bluetooth protocols but I cannot remember the details. In theory a keyboard with a modern protocol capability should be able to pair with non apple devices as well I think.

Subject: Apple bluetooth Keyboard Hi! I have a question about the Apple bluetooth keyboard I'm asking on behalf of someone else. Can the Apple Bluetooth keyboard be paired with other devices? Even though I have quite a number of the boards here its something I've never tried. ********** Dane Trethowan Skype: grtdane12 Phone US (213) 438-9741 Phone U.K. 01245 79 0598 Phone Australia (03) 9005 8589 Mobile: +61400494862 Fax +61397437954 ======================================= The Techno-Chat E-Mail forum is guaranteed malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and worm-free To modify your subscription options, please visit for forum's dedicated web pages located at http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/mailman/listinfo/techno-chat You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Techno-Chat group at either of the following websites: http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/techno-chat/index.html Or: <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]> you may also subscribe to this list via RSS.
