This Sony computer monitor CPD-E200 came into the shop with narrow picture (less 2 inches each side), retrace lines, and 1 inch vertical foldover at top.
Solution: C821, 47uF 200V in power supply was open. Found it with my ESR meter and verified open with capacitance-value meter. Also soldered up majority of connections on main board. Many did not look very good. --
