Just a thought. By experience...farming this stuff out..shipping...repair...probable damge in re-shipping, puts the repair out of your control.
We all appreciate the offer, but in the end...it all comes back to you and your business.
Years ago, before Walmart(;-)), I used to transport this stuff to Toronto, take it into the Company's Service Department..do all the phoning, billing, and even the pick ups.
My suggestion is....phone the customer...and suggest he brings it to a ASC for Canon. Makes you look professional...and the burden is not on your business.
