Put in the Audio IC and the speaker, audio came back but one side was still just garbled. Then found route cause a wire from elseware on the chassis had one end loose dangling into the audio section onto one of the caps so after removing it proper function was restored. Peter Oliver ================================ No Audio Customer complained that one side went staticy and quit then sometime later the other side failed. Have found the Audio IC with a hole in it and 1 shorted speaker. Have ordered New IC, have speaker. Question is are speakers high failure on this model or is there a more insidious route of failure that will blow the IC when I get it. Was using the BA6 schematic from kv24FS100/KV25FS100.
