Son't you just LOVE the modern shutdown circuits? By "Cannot take Voltage measurements" do you mean that even the standby voltages are dead? If even the 5v to the front panel is dead this indicated COMPLETE power supply shutdown, which means there is a problem in the power supply. I have no P&D info for parts on this set, but you should consider replacing rather than troubleshooting the supply. Have you attempted to isolate the power supply? Instead of heat gun, try cold spray around the PS and see if set stays on.
