Pioneer VSX-0557 Mfd:08/1998 Symptom: no volume, balance, bass, treble control.
Fix: Relay RY151 (OSA-SS-224DM3) on rear/center spkr brd-(CMK1-P3X). Relay is activated when engaging DSP mode switch. what was deceiving was relay appeared to be activating and deactivating solidly. no reaction from banging or flexing of board until removal of casing, then you could correct problem via the contacts. Tried cleaning, no go.
