I replaced the blown fuse and apparently resoldering the resistors (which I tested out of circuit) must have fixed it. All is playing fine now. The resistors did have very very small ring cracks on a few of them but nothing looked definite, or maybe fuse was not good quality, All playing fine now!

Subject: [Techs] Sony KP-46S15 - Immediate Shutdown
Date: Wed, 12 Jan 2005 20:15:57 -0500

What: 46" Big Screen TV
Make: Sony
Model: KP-46S15
Made: Oct 95'

Problem: Immediate Shutdown. Hit front power button and set clicks and draws current for 1 sec and then quits (shutsdown).

**Found (1) open 3.15A fuse on Convergence Board. So I replaced BOTH STK392-010 Conv. IC's and replaced the (1) open 3.15A fuse. When I turned set on, it blew same fuse again! I lifted lead of each of those (4.7 ohm) resistors under hit sink of the STK392-010 that was tied to the blown fuse and each resistor check ok. What am I missing?
