Just a quick note that the OSWG website has been updated.

Dan's notes about the CVS stuff have been turned into a mini-FAQ and
added here: http://www.oswg.org/docs/oswgcvs.html .

Also, a "Writer's Online Bookshelf" has been added. This includes links
to Style Guides, SGML References (including Norman Walsh's new book),
Reference Manuals, general Technical Writing resources, etc. If you
know of other online resources that should be part of this bookshelf,
send a note to [EMAIL PROTECTED] It's here:
http://www.oswg.org/docs/onlinebookshelf.html

Also started is a "Writer's Tools" list, although this list is currently
little better than a skeleton, and is mostly empty. If people could
email about other tools that are missing, that would be appeciated.
Additionally, if you know of places to find the various tools in
alternate formats (.rpm, .deb, etc), those would be very handy. What
there is of the tools page is here: http://www.oswg.org/docs/tools.html

Finally, I've had a number of email aliases set up. These aliases exist
to ensure that the OSWG outlives its current maintainers -- rather than
having to change all email references when new people come in to fill
the various roles, we can just point that alias at the new person's
email address. Simple is good :> These aliases are as follows:

        [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I've listed these on the (new) "Contact Info" page:
http://www.oswg.org/docs/contact.html . If there are other aliases that
you think should exist, let me know, and I'll get them set up. One I
think I'll be adding shortly is a "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" which will
be the email address for the person willing to help coordinate the
various volunteers who come to us wanting to help out. I think I've
changed all the appropriate email references to point at the new
addresses. If you notice any that are still pointing at
[EMAIL PROTECTED], send a note and I'll fix it.

Right. I'm really tired, so I might have forgotten something. Poke
around the site. If there's something broken, send a note to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] :)

Thanks
