(following close on the heels of my last post :) If you know or are interested in learning how to use SGML and the DocBook DTD, the OSWG needs your help. As I mentioned in an earlier post, people can submit documents to the OSWG in any format they choose. Before these docs can be included with those that are automatically generated into other formats, however, they must be marked up as DocBook and included in the OSWG CVS system. Thus, we need people who are willing to take an hour or two every so often to to help with this DocBook markup. You don't need to use or know CVS to do this -- once marked up, you can resubmit the doc to the [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list, and someone with a CVS account will commit it to the CVS tree. DocBook isn't difficult to learn (I've picked up the basics in a couple of hours), and I'm going to have a oswg-docbook mailing list set up where people can help one another learn this very useful markup system. I'll announce when the mailing list is ready for subscribers. If you're interested in learning DocBook and/or helping with OSWG markup tasks, please contact me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] - deb -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED]
