Please shoot the resume to [email protected] with the rate, contact details, current location and visa status Jersey City, NY 3 months The successful candidate will work within the Derivatives and Equity Linked Technology department contributing to the development of the post-trade processing system for the NJ/STM region. The successful candidate should have the solid knowledge and experience of Equity Derivatives /Cash trading from both a business and technology perspective. The candidate must also have in-depth knowledge in various structured products and the post-trade processing workflow for both the securitized and OTC models. Specifically, the candidate must have intensive hands-on experience in some of the following areas: - Trade processing including trade capture, derivation and generation - Product life cycle and event management - Position and inventory management - Trade distribution and report - Book and record reconciliation - Document generation and management - Settlement and Confirmation - Referential data service and management - End-to-end/Straight Though Processing (STP) work flow management In addition, the candidate should also have a proven record and experience on the large scale enterprise system design and development. Be able to trouble shoot and fine tune at the system level. An intensive experience in Java development is required. Strong Oracle and SQL experience is also essential. Agile methodology, Hibernate and Spring are also preferred. Scripting language (Perl and Shell) skills and UNIX working experience are desired. Solid multi-threading, message processing and distribution, and communication programming skills are preferred. The candidate should have a desire to be the part of the global EQ derivatives team. The candidate must be able to communicate well with business users and technical staff in all regions. Respond well in extremely high pressure situations by demonstrating ownership and problem solving capability.
